This patient presented with missing back teeth and tooth wear caused by clenching and grinding. This had resulted in the loss of a stable bite (third photo). We placed additive composite to test the bite and added 4 dental implant crowns to fill the gaps and provide support. The patient initially was very happy with the composite bonding and kept it for around five years. As a smoker, issues with composite staining can become quite obvious over time (third photo). At this point, we had a choice: redo the bonding, or convert the composite to porcelain. The patient opted for six upper e.max partial coverage crowns (provided by @creativedental_solutions) for a long-lasting, stain resistant solution. Treatment provided by Dr Luke Savva.
